Ensuring Quality Through Testing & Inspection

Quality Testing.

Every FIBC manufactured by SDR Polymers undergoes systematic inspection and quality checks to ensure that the finished product conforms to the approved specifications and intended application requirements.

Our inspection process begins with incoming raw materials and continues throughout manufacturing until final packing and dispatch. Critical product characteristics are monitored to identify and prevent deviations at the earliest stage.

Key Inspection & Testing Areas

  • Raw Material Inspection – Verification of incoming polypropylene and other materials against defined requirements.
  • Fabric Inspection – Checking fabric construction, appearance, dimensions, and workmanship.
  • Dimensional Inspection – Verification of bag dimensions, tolerances, construction, and component positioning.
  • Stitching Inspection – Checking seam quality, stitch formation, reinforcement, and overall workmanship.
  • Webbing & Loop Inspection – Inspection of lifting loops, webbing and their attachment to ensure conformity with approved specifications.
  • Printing Inspection – Verification of printed information, logos, markings, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Liner Inspection – Checking liner dimensions, construction, sealing and fit where applicable.
  • Finished Product Inspection – Final inspection of the completed FIBC before packing and dispatch.
  • Performance Testing – Testing of applicable performance characteristics such as fabric strength, seam strength, lifting-loop strength, and other specified parameters.
  • SWL & Safety Requirements – Verification against the specified Safe Working Load (SWL), safety factor, and applicable customer or regulatory requirements.

Quality Documentation

Inspection and testing records are maintained as applicable to support product conformity, traceability, and customer requirements. Where specific testing or certification is required, products can be supported by relevant test reports and certification documentation.

Our objective is simple: to ensure that every FIBC leaving our facility meets the agreed specification and is fit for its intended application.
